I don't do anything: I am just the cook/cleaner/entertainer/slave to the ratties...all the winnning is done by their own gorgeousness!

Boarding:

Included: Cage cleaning, feeding/watering, out-of-cage free playtime, medications and any special treatments if required.

Booking in advance required, especially at peak times such as Christmas, Easter and school holidays.

Extra services: Grooming, bathing, nail trim, clipping (longhair animals).

Conditions of Boarding

Health: Animals must be vaccinated (where applicable), dewormed and demited at one week prior to boarding. Special requirements such medications, vet diets etc. should be supplied at point of drop off. Full details of preferred veterinary surgeon and recommended actions in case of emergency to be supplied to AristocRATS.

Due to possibility of Calici/Myxomatosis in rural areas, it is recommended that you cover exposed areas of rabbit cages with mosquito netting and apply insect repellant to your rabbit. We can continue application during boarding.

Pets left in our care are done so at owners' own risk. While all due care is taken for the wellbeing and safety of your pet and their containment, AristocRATS is not responsible for accidental damages to personal belongings (i.e. Cages etc.) or monetary losses due to accidental loss/injury to animal while on our premises.

Does/sows which are in advanced pregnancy or mothers feeding very young babies will not be accepted, unless in exceptional circumstances. Severely ill, contagiously infected or recently injured animals will not be accepted.

Cages, waterbottles and feed bowls to be supplied by owner at time of drop off, unless otherwise arranged.

Payment required in full at time of drop off: cash, cheques or money order only.

Shipping

We can fly rats interstate or overseas by arrangement. Freight is at buyer's expense, as is insurance and cost of flight containers and water bottles, as supplied by us.

Generally though, it costs between $60-$80 for unaccompanied cargo (rats in crate) to be sent to a capital city. The crate is around $12, water bottle $4-6 and the rats start at $10 each, flown only in same-sex pairs. So to send for rats by air you are looking at anything from $100 upwards.

Transport by road is not recommended, unless you are personally travelling with the rat/s in an air-conditioned car or similar vehicle.

Delivery Service

AristocRATS offers a delivery service for purchased animals to approved homes and owners. This is subject to our schedule and dependent on weather conditions. Although we travel airconditoned, we prefer not to put the animals through the stress of travel and relocation in the extreme temperatures of summer.

We can deliver to most areas for an arranged fee which is payable upon arrival or by prior arrangement. Areas include Tamworth,Uralla, Guyra, Glen Innes, Armidale and surrounding areas.

We travel to Sydney occasionally, so we may be able to meet you at an agreed destination for reduced rates.
